Little Athletics Tasmania is pleased to announce its Board of Management for the 2026-2027 season, following the Association’s Annual Board Conference and annual governance processes.
The Board has elected Amanda Robertson as President for the 2026/2027 season, with Paul Mommers continuing to serve Little Athletics Tasmania as Vice President. The remaining directors for the season are Seth Kaehne, Adrian Hatten and Madeline Paine.
Amanda brings extensive Little Athletics experience to the role, having been involved in the sport for 19 years, including 11 years as a parent. She has served on the Clarence Little Athletics Centre Committee, held a range of centre-level volunteer and official roles, and supported Little Athletics Tasmania State events as Team Manager and official. Since joining the Little Athletics Tasmania Board in 2021, Amanda has contributed across key portfolio areas including Education, Officials, Inclusion, Competition and Vice President.
“I am honoured to take on the role of President of Little Athletics Tasmania. With the unification of Australian Athletics and Little Athletics Australia, the launch of a new Strategic Plan for Tasmanian Athletics, and continued collaboration with Athletics Tasmania, it is an exciting time to be involved in athletics in our state.”
“As the proud parent of three former Little Athletes, I am pleased to be able to give back to a sport that has given so much to my family. The lifelong friendships and the Be Your Best philosophy are cherished memories and values that continue to resonate with us today.”
Little Athletics Tasmania also acknowledges Paul Mommers for his outstanding contribution as President. Paul’s long-standing service to the sport includes centre leadership, coaching, cross-country event coordination, state-level volunteering and Board service. The Board is pleased that Paul will continue contributing his experience and leadership in the role of Vice President.
New Director Seth Kaehne brings a strong foundation in financial analysis, strategic planning, operational leadership and governance. His appointment adds further capability in financial oversight, risk awareness, structured decision-making and long-term sustainability as Little Athletics Tasmania continues to support centres, volunteers, families and young athletes across the state.
Little Athletics Tasmania extends its sincere thanks to outgoing Director Natalie Luttrell for her service and contribution to the Board. Her commitment and support have helped strengthen the organisation’s work with centres, volunteers, families and young athletes across Tasmania.
