Fast Track Squad

Athletes entering the Under 13 age group are invited to apply for selection to participate in the Fast Track squad for the 2024-25 Season. This is a great opportunity to improve your relay skills and have a great time doing it!

The squad is designed to provide quality coaching and active participation in athletics. A particular focus will be relays and baton changing. Our aim is to have most of our team at ALACs 2025 in Adelaide well versed in relays so we maximise our results and points in the relay events.

Training sessions will be held throughout the season on the following dates:

Saturday 23rd November 2024, 8.30am (prior to Coles Summer Series 1)
Northern Athletic Centre, Launceston
(Athletes to meet at the 1500m start line)

Saturday 7th December 2024, 8.30am (prior to Coles Summer Series 2)
Domain Athletics Centre, Hobart
(Athletes to meet at the 1500m start line)

Sunday 26th January 2025, 8.30am (prior to Coles Summer Series 3)
Penguin Athletic Track, Penguin
(Athletes to meet at the 1500m start line)

Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th January 2025, (times to be advised)
Training session to be held during the U12-U13 Coaching Camp
Camp Banksia, Port Sorell
